InsightsCRM has the ‘Smart Email’ functionality to commit email from Outlook/Gmail to InsightsCRM. To commit emails to InsightsCRM, ensure that Bcc Email (Smart Email address) is included in your sender list. By default, Bcc Email (Smart Email address) would be set as the organization's name along with "@mail.insightscrm.com." If you want to change the BCC Email, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Admin module.
- Go to My Account.
- Mention the ‘Account Name’ in the BCC Email field.
- Click on the Save Changes button to save the details entered.
For the Smart Email functionality to work, follow these steps:
- Open your Outlook\Gmail, create a mail, and mention the client email address in the ‘To’ field in your Outlook Email.
- Mention the email address of the person you want to copy in the email in the ‘CC’ field.
- Put the ‘Smart email’ configured in the ‘BCC’ field in the system.
- Write the subject of the email in the Subject field.
- Write the content of the email in the mail body.
- Click on the Send button to send the email.

Note: Such emails will have ‘Bcc’ mentioned in the listing to differentiate these emails instead of the InsightsCRM logo in front of the email (as shown in the screenshot).
