Personalize your Email and send it to multiple recipients all at once in InsightsCRM

Personalize is the new enhanced functionality that we have added to our mail section which will allow users to personalize their emails. Instead of writing their basic details all the time, users can easily use the personalization functionality. To use the functionality, follow the following steps:


  1. Navigate to the Emails module. 
  2. Click on the Compose button. 



  1. Once the new email window is opened, put the email addresses of the clients in the ‘To’ field of the email window.
  2. Mention the email address of the person you want to copy in the email in the ‘CC’ field.
  3. You can search for the Deal and select it if the email is related to any of the Deals.
  4. Write the subject of the email in the Subject field.
  5. You can also add tags to the email by simply typing the name of the tag and clicking on Enter button, the added tag will be shown in the Tags field. 
  6. Draft the email content in the mail body. 
  7. The highlighted portion in the middle of the Email window can be used to modify the email body. 
  8. Keep the Cursor next to Hi/Dear to use personalization functionality. 
  9. Click on the Personalisation option.  
  10. Choose any of the options from the Personalisation drop-down, we have chosen the  Insert First Name option.

  1. After the option is chosen, the FIRSTNAME personalisation tag will be visible to you in the mail body (however, the client will see his first name only when he receives the email). 
  2. Click on the Send button to send the email.

  1. Once the email is sent, it will be shown in the sent items the of sender’s InsightsCRM mailbox, we have sent emails to 5 different clients hence 5 separate emails are showing with the client’s first name (as shown in the below pic).

  1. You can click on the sent email to see it, as only the recipient’s name will be visible to users in the To’ field.
